City of Irwindale selects Nobel Systems to implement Nobel's GIS Viewing Application - GeoViewer

City of Irwindale selected Nobel Systems to host their GIS data of Landbase, Storm Drain, Sewer and Easements on the web using GeoViewer Online ver. 6.1.5. This implementation will help the City to simplify access to the GIS layers thereby increasing staff productivity and allow easy and accurate maintenance of Landbase, Storm Drain, Sewer and Easement features.

The City of Irwindale also known as "Jardin de Roca," Spanish for "Garden of Rocks." was founded in 1860 and incorporated in 1957, is approximately, 9.5 square miles in size and is located in the heart of the greater San Gabriel Valley, 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Its enviable location at the confluence of the 605 and 210 Freeways makes it attractive to many large, well-known and successful businesses.

City of Del Mar selected Nobel Systems to host their GIS data on the web using GeoViewer Online ver. 7.x and ‘Del Mar Public Viewer’ using the GeoViewer Online ver. 6.1.5. This implementation will help the City better, serve the City’s residential and business communities, simplify access to the GIS layers thereby increasing staff productivity and allow easy and accurate maintenance of Landbase, Storm Drain, Sewer and especially facilities like Street Sweeping, Building Location, Parking Location etc.

Del Mar is an upscale beach town in the San Diego County, CA. Del Mar is Spanish for "of the sea" or "by the sea", because it is located near the Pacific Ocean. Colonel Jacob Taylor purchased 338 acres from Enoch Talbert in 1883, with visions of building a seaside resort for the rich and famous. The City has a total area of 2 mi² with a population of a little over 4500. Del Mar is also made famous by the rare Torrey Pine trees that grows in this area and is in the list of endangered species in the U.S.

Victor Valley Waste Water Reclamation Authority (VVWRA) - A Joint Powers Authority and Public Agency of the State of California, selected Nobel Systems to host their Wastewater GIS data on the web using GeoViewer Online ver. 7.x. This implementation will help the City better, to serve the City’s residential and business communities, simplify access to the GIS layers thereby increasing staff productivity and allow easy and accurate maintenance of the Wastewater features in GIS.

VVWRA was originally formed by the Mojave Water Agency is under operation since 1977, to help meet the requirements of the federal Clean Water Act and provide wastewater treatment for the growing area. The original treatment plant, with supporting pipelines and infrastructure, began operating in 1981, providing tertiary level treatment for up to 4.5 million gallons per day (MGD). Over the years, VVWRA has completed treatment plant upgrades and several capacity increases. The regional treatment plant is currently capable of treating a portion of the flow to a tertiary level and the remaining flow to a secondary level for percolation. A majority of the highly treated wastewater is discharged into the Mojave River Basin and a smaller amount is currently used to irrigate landscaping at the treatment plant and the nearby Westwinds Golf Course.
