Chief Technology Officer

Duties:
Leading the strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing GIS software development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all service offerings. Communicate the company’s technology strategy internally and externally. Manage full life cycle projects to budget and deadline. Requires understanding of user requirements, envisioning technology solutions, leading implementation, andplanning for risk and growth. Experience in software program management, technical consulting, solution design, software development, deployment, and operational support. .


Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering – any branch, Physics, or Maths and 5 years progressive experience as Product Engineer, GIS Lead, Systems Engineer, or GIS related .


Special Requirements:
Knowledge and experience with GIS technologies. Programming experience in .NET, Java,C/C++ as well as industry domain knowledge (e.g., electric, gas, telecommunications, defense, commercial, etc.) and experience working on related technologies in those markets .

GIS IT Lead

Duties:
Involved in the design and development of web and desktop-based GIS solutions. Utilize your knowledge of functional analysis, system architecture frameworks, methodologies, and IT technologies to develop enterprise GIS deployments based on established industry standards. Responsibilities include reviewing customers’ existing system architectures to recommend improvements in performance and software migration plans. Provide technical expertise for proposals and participate in the costing/scoping process. .


Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, GIS, or related technical field with at least 5 years of experience. Experience in technical consulting, solution design, software development, deployment, and operational support. .


Tools and Skills:
Knowledge of and experience with GIS technologies, preferably using the ESRI product suite Programming experience in .NET, Java, C/C++ and web technologies such as Adobe Flex. Knowledge of and experience with software methodologies and application testing. Industry domain knowledge (e.g., electric, gas, telecommunications, defense, commercial, etc.) and experience working on related technologies in those markets. .

IT Manager
Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for designing custom Web based GIS solutions following our product-based methodologies. Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure including server, network, firewall, Email, Storage and workstations. Lead a development Team by ensuring the application developments are within scope, budget and time. Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternate business solution, where necessary. The candidate needs to initiate and implement improvements in all areas of IT responsibility by serving as a main point of contact on all-it related matters that office assign. Must have strong knowledge of ESRI ArcServer 9.3.X (ArcInfo, ArcGIS Server, ArcObjects) technologies with.NET, C#, IIS - web based customizations and/or add-on's to our current products, but can also include software installation and/or troubleshooting, MSSQL Database configurations, and programming in other languages such as VB.NET, C++ and flex APIs. The required candidate must able to demonstrate strong communication and writing skills.

The candidate will be working independently, travelling to client places, communicating by telephone or email. Travel requirement 60-70%.

Required Skills/Expertise
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of IT Experience with 5 Years of IT Management.
Strong Technical Skill on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specific to ESRI Products.
Results focused, Manage Team effectively by establishing proper communication.
Must have experience serving local government clients (City, Counties, Water districts) by providing GIS and IT Solutions.
Good knowledge and experience in the complete Software Development Project Life Cycle.
Demonstrated problem solving, communication and writing skills.
Strong Knowledge and experience of Windows Servers, Networking, SonicWall Firewall Administration, Microsoft Exchange Server Management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
Hands on experience in GPS and Mobile Solution Technologies.

Minimum Technical Skills.
10+ years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining software applications ranging from medium to very large scale applications.
Skills of Core Programming Competence in Microsoft technologies, .Net framework, MsSQL, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Oracle.
Hands on and real project experience in System architecture (Server, Storage, Network and Software). Maintaining HP servers on Windows 2003 environment. Good Knowledge of VMWare ESXi4.0
Good knowledge of project management processes, with experience in managing complete Software Development Project Life Cycle.
Experience Skill Requirement in sales processes including tender processes & managing vendors. Provides technical leadership necessary to develop and design GIS systems and components.
Hands on working experience with Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and manage LAN with computers, printers. Experience in adding storage array control to servers and manage network.
Experience in Microsoft Windows .NET Applications and ASP.NET Web Applications. Experience in developing GIS Applications using ESRI’s ArcObjects Runtime Engine, ArcGIS Server and ArcIMS Server. Knowledge on installing and configuring ArcIMS Server, ArcSDE Server and ArcGIS Server. In depth knowledge in NET, be able to debug and troubleshoot existing Windows and Web applications. Troubleshoot GIS related issues regarding Map Projections, Data related issues.
Experience in leading a member of 25 software development team on-shore and off-shore to plan, estimate, schedule and implement programming tasks.
Extensive experience developing database applications using Oracle and MS SQL Server including creating stored procedures using SQL and data connectivity using ADO.NET/ADO, ODBC, and OLEDB.
Knowledge of Object Oriented programming methodologies (OOPS).

Desirable Skills
Working Knowledge of any SCADA, Billing Systems, ERP, CRM.
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP).
Experience in process improvement and change management.


Project Engineer / Hydraulic Modeler

About the Position:

The Project Engineer focus is to work with the creation, development, calibration, analyses, and project management of hydraulic models, both water & sewer, at a minimum. Project Manager  - GIS


Job Description

This position involves working in a team environment creating high quality data, maps, and charts. Responsibilities include managing complex GIS & GPS projects from Cities and Water Districts and working with our production team in Bangalore, India.

Job Requirements

Internship – Software development

Be part of a software development team designing and implementing custom applications and modules based on GIS and database technologies for clients.

Responsibilities :

Develop software modules for a GIS based mapping platform
Implement functionality to show assets such as vehicle locations on a Map
Design, implement, and integrate reporting and visualization(charts, graphs) capabilities
Work on solutions for developing a real-time messaging with alert notifications to satisfy the workflow needs of utilities
Work closely with other programmers to develop robust software components
Diagnose and fix software problems

Requirements:

Under graduate or Graduate students in computer science
Exposure to software development
Exposure to database design
Strong programming and analytical skills. Exposure to C#, Adobe Flex, .NET programming is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
